What we do
Six disciplines, one connected practice.
We don't sell channels. We sell outcomes — and we use whichever tools and disciplines best move you toward them. Most engagements blend two or three of these. The right mix is the first thing we figure out together.

From the founder
"I started Matterhorn because the small businesses I admired most were being sold templated marketing. They deserved a partner who'd actually pick up the phone and learn the work."
Kayleen Olson founded Matterhorn Marketing in 2014 after a decade leading campaigns for outdoor brands across the Pacific Northwest. Today the studio is a tight crew of six — strategists, writers, designers, and analysts — working from a renovated brick building in downtown Everett.
How we work
A simple four-step engagement.
01
Listen
A working session where we map the business, audience, and the goal you're actually trying to reach.
02
Plan
A clear written plan — channels, budgets, milestones — and an honest read on what we won't do.
03
Ship
We build, write, design, and launch. You see drafts early and decisions explained, not just delivered.
04
Tune
Monthly reviews, quarterly retrospectives, and the slow compounding that comes from staying with a thing.
Client note
"Kayleen and her team rebuilt our entire local presence in six months. Phone calls from new patients have more than doubled, and the website finally feels like our practice."
— Dr. Sarah Whitman, Sound View Dental · Edmonds, WA

Rooted in Everett
A studio shaped by where it lives.
Everett is a working city — boatyards, aerospace, family restaurants, and main-street shops. The pace and values here are ours too. We keep our overhead low, our team small, and our calendar open enough to do the work right.
